Weekly Menu 3/12/17

I was so excited last week about cooking with Blue Apron I couldn’t wait to get my shipment.  I kept checking the front porch all day Friday anxiously awaiting my box.  Once night fell I grew a bit concerned.  Why haven’t I gotten my Blue Apron package yet?  It said it would be here by 8:00 pm at the latest.  So I finally went back and double checked the ship date.  Much to my disappointment I had the dates wrong.

Weekly Menu 3/5/17

March 5th Weekly MenuI’m excited to be cooking with Blue Apron again this week.  I deactivated my account after giving it a try a few months ago (see my review here).  The meals we received were delicious but a little time consuming to make. Weekly Menu – 2/26/17

Woohoo!  I made it through hosting 3 parties in 1 short month!  I’ll be sharing the details of my sister’s baby shower soon.  But first, one more week of overlapping winter & spring sports. Last week we actually had one day where B had 3 practices at the same time.  In the past I would have tried to make at least a little bit of them all.  However, I’ve learned that instead of stressing out and trying to do it all, it’s best to just pick one and let the rest go.  Luckily the decision didn’t end up being too hard. Weekly Menu 2/19/17

Another busy week as winter and spring sports overlap, which means I’m depending on my Slow Cooker and Instant Pot to get dinner on the table.  I love that the Instant Pot can function as both.  I recently ordered the glass lid on Amazon for when I use the Instant Pot as a slow cooker.  I haven’t gotten rid of my slow cooker though.   Continue reading “Weekly Menu 2/19/17”

Weekly Menu 2/12/17

February is kicking my butt.  Why are so many things packed into such a short month?  Needless to say my menu planning has gotten a little lax.  We’re still doing Core de Force, and already noticing results, but I’m not using the 21 Day Fix tally sheets to create a portion controlled menu. I’m relying heavily on Instant Pot & Slow Cooker recipes to get dinner on the table.
