You’ll find proven plans, simple systems and ideas for having a good time. I’ll help you take an organized and systematic approach to everything from meal planning, fitness, daily chores, kids, organizing your home and working from home. I’ll also give you ideas to have fun with your family through travel, holiday & party planning and some ideas to treat yourself. You can expect honest reviews of things I’ve tried that are working for my family.

So What is Working Here? Short answer- Me. I’m Leslie- a working mom who works from home, works out, and constantly works on ways to do things more efficiently so I have more time for fun with my family. I’m a little OCD- the super organized kind. I love to have fun with my family and coming up with creative ways to do so.
A Little More About Me
I married my high school sweetheart, Chad, over 15 years ago and we’ve been together for over 23 years. We’ve got a witty 8 year old son, Blake. We live in a suburb just north of Houston, Texas.
I work full time from home in sales for a technology company that works with multi-unit restaurants. Before I worked from home I worked full time in an office setting which helps me really appreciate being able to work from home. I feel like I have the best of both worlds working from home and still being involved with Blake’s school. It’s definitely a balancing act and I couldn’t do it without the support of my amazing husband, family and friends.
To be honest, I don’t enjoy working out. At all. But I do enjoy the health benefits and how it makes me feel more confident about my body. I’m a fan of the Beachbody work-out programs. We’ve used a number of their products so writing reviews and becoming a coach just made sense.
I LOVE food. I eat every 3 hours. Don’t mess with my meal times. I plan a detailed menu every week, print it out and hang it on my fridge- Breakfast, lunch, dinner & snacks. Yep, really. I share it here every week to help you plan (mostly) healthy meals for your family.
I enjoy cooking, gardening, planning parties, and organizing things. I’ll admit there’s some OCD in my family, OK a LOT. I’m really not as bad as my sister though. I actually enjoy organizing things like closets, pantries, garages. My recent birthday & Christmas gifts may sound lame (wooden hangers, glass jars to alphabetically arrange my spices, garage shelving & bins) but I get really excited about them. I’ve even organized my friends’ pantry, and enjoyed it!
