The key to getting your family to eat healthy is serving them familiar foods with a few tweaks.
Many people tell me they struggle with following a nutrition plan like Portion Fix because they don’t want to have to cook separate meals for themselves and their family. The good news is the food you eat while following Portion Fix is just regular food your family can eat too!
I understand kids (and spouses) can be picky. Don’t expect to go from regular spaghetti to serving them spaghetti squash and think they won’t notice, they will. But you can make a little change in a healthier direction like gluten-free pasta made with chickpeas. The texture and the taste are the same so they probably won’t even know the difference.
Creating fun presentations, like the jack-o-lantern stuffed peppers may also get them to try something new.
