Staying on track while we stay at home by planning healthy meals for this week’s menu. See what’s on the menu and why eating well will help you feel better.
Eat Well, Feel Better
These past few weeks have been crazy and stressful. I will admit our eating has not been the best. We’ve been eating out to support restaurants and I haven’t made the best choices. Hello Torchy’s queso!
I also found myself doing a little stress eating & drinking. Chips, cookies, candy, wine anyone?
After a few days I decided it was time to reign it in and get back on track. Not only because of the number on the scale, but really because eating junk doesn’t make me feel good.
Fueling your body with healthy foods does make you feel so much better. Think of your body like a car, the better gas/fuel you put in it the better it runs.
That doesn’t mean you can’t have a treat here and there. Just make sure the majority of the food you eat is on the clean and healthy side. And if you can’t control yourself, don’t bring the junk food into your house, especially now. If others in the house are bringing tempting foods in ask them to store it somewhere you won’t see it. Out of sight, out of mind.
