What is it that Autumn always says, “Being prepared isn’t half the battle, it is the battle.” It’s true. If you’re trying to follow an eating plan the key word is PLAN! Check out what is on this week’s meal plan and tips for planning ahead.

Plan Ahead
You may call it an eating plan or a nutrition plan but either way there’s one common word: PLAN! And guess what, it’s hard to follow a plan without planning. If you’re not a planner don’t worry, planning doesn’t have to be overwhelming or complicated.
Here are few tips for staying on plan by planning ahead:
- Use a Template – Find a meal plan template for the eating plan you are following. You can find templates for Portion Fix Plans A-F, Timed Nutrition Meal Plans and Carb Cycling Meal Plans in the What’s Working Here Resource Library. A template will help you easily fill in your meal plan.
- Write Down Activities- Make note of any activities you have going on so you can plan accordingly. Maybe you need a quick dinner for nights your kids have activities or maybe you need to pack snacks to take with you on the go. Writing down your activities will help you make a meal plan that you can actually make happen.
- Use Other’s Meal Plans- Do a quick search on Google or Pinterest and you will find a number of already done for you meal plans. Beachbody on Demand and BODI both provide meal plans for the Portion Fix and 2B Mindset Nutrition Programs. Even if you don’t like everything on the plan it will spark ideas and give you a starting point.
