Excited about 80 Day Obsession Refeed day but don’t know what to eat? I’ve got you covered with this week’s menu which includes exactly what I’m having for my Meal Plan B Refeed Day.
What is Refeed Day
A quick break down of Refeed Day in case you have no idea what I’m talking about. During Phases 2 & 3 of 80 Day Obsession you get one day a week, every other week that is designated as “Refeed Day”.
On Refeed day you choose carbs from the supplemental yellow list. Instead of whole grain carbs you are allowed foods made with white flour like waffles, bagels and tortillas. There are also a number of desserts on the list from the Fixate Cookbook.
The purpose of Refeed Day is to replenish glycogen stores in your muscles so you can work out harder and get better results.
For this Refeed Day I plan on enjoying:
- A waffle with berries
- A bagel sandwich
- A beef burrito
Hubby Favorites
The rest of this week’s menu should be called hubby favorites. He really enjoyed the shrimp boil I made at the beach house and has been asking me to make it again ever since. His eyes actually lit up when I suggested it for this week’s menu.
He also requested the Turkey Meatloaf, again. It was on last week’s menu but we ended up having pizza instead so I froze the ground turkey to use this week.
