This week’s menu is based on Ultimate Portion Fix Timed Nutrition. My husband and I are getting ready for a beach vacation. When I asked him what nutrition program he’d like to do to get ready he requested the Portion Fix container system.
Why Timed Nutrition
While I’m not currently doing the 80 Day Obsession fitness program I am following the timed nutrition nutrition plan from the program. I could just follow the Foundational Fix plan but I enjoy the structure timed nutrition provides. It’s hard for me to wrap my head around meal planning with the containers. Knowing what containers to put together makes it a whole lot easier for me.
If you are doing timed nutrition outside of 80 Day Obsession don’t forget to calculate your eating plan based on your workout. I’m currently doing Barre Blend which is only 30 minutes compared to 80 Day Obsession’s 60 minute workouts so the calculations are a little different. Luckily, I’m still a meal plan B!
The one change I made on the Timed Nutrition Plan is swapping my Pre-Workout Meal with Meal 1. If you workout early in the morning and don’t want to eat a full red, yellow, green meal before you workout, Autumn says you can swap it out and have your Shakeology before your workout.
