My latest Stitch Fix shipment is not what I asked for at all. But, sometimes even when you don’t get what you asked for you still end up with something that you want. Check out my latest Stitch Fix Review with Summer to Fall styles.
Not What I Asked For
One of the great things about Stitch Fix is you can leave a note for your stylist and request items for your fix. For this particular fix I asked for only little black dresses that would be perfect for date nights with my hubby. What I got was nothing near what I asked for. At first it kind of annoyed me. I get that they may not have what I’m looking for at any given time. My thought was that I’d rather not have anything if I couldn’t have what I asked for. But since I purchased the style pass (a flat upfront styling fee for the year) I no longer pay the $20 styling fee, so I wasn’t out anything if I didn’t like anything they sent.

Summer To Fall Style Review
Once I got over my attitude of not getting what I wanted I finally tried on the pieces. I’m glad I did because I was pleasantly surprised and kept a few.
First I tried on the Callalily Off The Shoulder Knit Top by Loveappella with the white Adrianne Boyfriend Jeans by Cosmic Blue Love. Off the shoulder tops have never been my friend since I have such narrow shoulders. Thankfully similar to the off the shoulder top in my Resort Wear Fix, this top in a petite fit just right. I also like the floral print on a black background. A nice Summer to Fall style.
The jeans are also petite which means they fit without having to be hemmed. Woohoo! And don’t ask me where I’ve been but I didn’t have a pair of white jeans so these are a nice staple to add to my wardrobe.
Next, I tried on the Minden Pleat Detail Blouse by Collective Concepts. The floral patten has a nice Fall look. I just didn’t love how it looked on me.
Lastly, I tried on the Zoie Jersey Dress from Laundry by Shelli Segal. No, that’s not a little black dress. It’s navy 🙁 It is petite though so it fit well. But, I’m just not a fan of bell sleeves or shift dresses on me.
I accessorized the dress with the Trevor Long Metal Teardrop Pendant from Bay to Baubles. I don’t usually wear long necklaces and I was on the fence about this one. In the end I sent it back.
So while I didn’t get what I asked for I did end up getting some pieces I love. I encourage you to give Stitch Fix a try & Subscribe below to get my guide on How To Get Your Best Fix.
