Stitch Fix Request
When I heard that we would be heading to Grand Cayman on my husband’s sales trip next month I knew I needed to schedule a Fix. I love that when you schedule a fix you can send a note to your stylist to make a request. I let my stylist know that we would be visiting Grand Cayman and requested resort wear in my fix.
Stitch Fix Resort Wear Review
First, I tried on the Lauryn Knit Maxi Dress by Loveappella in a petite. Hooray for Stitch Fix carrying petites! I didn’t capture it in this picture but the petite sizing makes it so my 5’1″ self doesn’t trip trying to walk in this maxi dress.
I love the criss cross back and colorful pattern. I can imagine myself soaking up some island sun in this dress.
And for dinner on a cool night I plan to top it with a denim jacket. A definite keeper.
Next, I tried on the Malvolia Lace Off The Shoulder Blouse by En Elly with the Deanne Printed Maxi Skirt by Loveappella. Again, both in petite sizes. I have very narrow shoulders so I’ve never been able to wear an off the shoulder look. But, since this top is a petite it fits perfectly!
I also tried on the maxi skirt with a white tank and denim jacket like my stylist suggested. I love the bright colors. It’s so comfy.
Next, I tried on the Wilson Tie-Neck Top by Collective Concepts. I love the vibrant red-orange color and pattern of this top. I was a little lost on what to do with the tie. Do I knot it, tie it in a bow? Looking closely at the style card it looks like I’m supposed to tie it in a bow. This top feels very resort-like to me and I can’t wait to wear it on my trip.
Lastly, I tried on the Mikoh Crochet Strap Top by Collective Concepts. I’ve noticed the style for tops is getting shorter, something I’m trying to get used to. I like the bright colors and fun floral print.
The crochet detail on the back adds a pretty feminine touch.
While this top wasn’t my favorite I did end up keeping it. With the buy 5 – 25% discount Stitch Fix gives you it was cheaper to keep it.
Yes, I kept everything! I can’t wait to wear everything next month on vacation!
