Since I’ve enjoyed receiving Fixes from Stitch Fix so much I decided to share the fun with my sister and gave her a Stitch Fix Gift Card for her birthday this year.
My sister is about 6 years younger than me and our styles are very different. She wasn’t too sure about the personal styling service, especially because our taste in clothes is so different. My style profile is quite traditional vs. her boho style.
But since the Stitch Fix gift card I gave her covered the $20 styling fee there was no risk and she decided to give it a try (the styling fee ends up going toward any items you decide to keep). The first step was filling out her style profile. I wish I had recorded her reading the questions because she was cracking me up. I did snap a pic though.
Style Profile
After filling out the style profile she selected a delivery date for her 1st Fix. With Stitch Fix you can choose when you want to receive fixes. You can have them automatically sent monthly, every other month, every 3 months, every 2-3 weeks or sent on demand when you choose.
Once she received her items in the mail she agreed to come over and model the pieces for me. She’s gorgeous and very fun to photograph!
My Sister’s Fix
Central Park West – Bonay Fringe Detail Cardigan $118.00
My sister loved this cardigan and had already worn it to school, she’s a teacher, before she modeled it for me. That’s one of the things I really like about my Stitch Fix shipments. I usually find at least one item that I don’t want to take off and wear right away.
THML- Chana Embroidered Dress $68
This dress fit my sister perfectly, size and style wise. It was a keeper. The fabric is nice and light, perfect for hot Texas summers.
Diba- Layna Metal Embellished Sandals $40
If you haven’t heard Stitch Fix is now offering shoes! My sister received these sandals and felt they were a bit too stiff and binding for her taste.
Collective Concepts- Wilson Tie Neck Top $58
My sister really liked this top but wished it was a little bit longer.
Kut From The Kloth- Dayna Skinny Jean $88
Like me my sister is petite and these jeans in a petite fit her perfectly. She almost kept them but since she’s in the process of budgeting for a wedding and new home and didn’t really need any jeans she sent them back in the prepaid envelope.
Overall, she really enjoyed her 1st Fix and I was happy to share the fun of Stitch Fix with her. I hope to share more of her fixes on the blog in the future. You’ll also be seeing more of my sister in the coming months as I share highlights from her bridal shower.
