When you’re trying to follow an exercise program or just trying to eat better figuring out what to eat can be difficult. That’s why I’ve developed a healthy meal planning system to make menu planning easier. We call it “on the diet” menu planning.

For this week’s menu I chose lighter, healthier meals. My eating hasn’t been that great lately. It’s the eating I’ve been doing outside of the menu that’s the problem- chips, candy. The best way to prevent that is keeping the junk out of the house. Which for the most part we do but sometimes we indulge and buy the variety pack of chips.

We recently got to see the Houston Texans warm-up for their pre-season game against the Patriots from the sidelines. Down on the field, up close, with-in reach, all our favorite Texans players. No, we don’t have any special connections. It was part of the Texans Sideline Experience I got my husband for his 40th birthday. You can do it too! This Summer seemed to fly by. I realized I have not gotten any new wardrobe updates from Stitch Fix for the warmer months. My June Vacation Fix was full of layering pieces since the places we were visiting had much cooler weather. So I had to schedule a fix before the season was over. I’m glad I did because I got some great pieces in this Late Summer Stitch Fix Review. Being in Texas I’ve got plenty of hot days left to wear them.
