This week’s menu looks a lot like last week with the exception of Easter lunch. My explanation of why will probably make you feel a whole lot better about meal planning and getting dinner on the table.
Being out of town the whole weekend really threw me off. I usually grocery shop on Fridays but didn’t get a chance to before I left town. Making a meal plan around the items we already had on hand was really helpful. Especially since I didn’t make it to the grocery store until Tuesday afternoon to pick up the few things we did need.
So what did we eat? Leftover pizza my husband ordered while I was gone and lots of breakfast. I made blueberry pancakes & bacon one night. Another night we just ate cereal. Sometimes that’s just the way it goes.
Which means meals I had planned for last week roll over to this week. Making meal planning easy and giving me a chance to catch back up.
Easter Lunch
I’m also looking forward to our Easter Lunch Menu. Most of the items on the menu only get made this one time each year. It’s a shame because they’re so delicious. Be sure to check out my post on Favorite Easter Recipes to help plan your Easter Menu.
