This week I’m keeping my meal plan simple with tried and true recipes that my family loves. Check out what is on this week’s menu.

Keep It Simple
Meal planning doesn’t have to be overly complicated. There are a couple of things I do to keep my meal planning simple.
- I have the same breakfast everyday, my nutrient-dense shake with a half a banana, peanut butter and sometimes spinach
- I pick two morning snacks for the week and alternate them
- I pick two afternoon snacks for the week and alternate them
- I eat leftovers for lunch and one night for dinner
After picking snacks for the week all I have left to do is choose four dinners. One night is leftover night and on Friday and Saturday we out or order food in. I like to pick a different protein for each dinner to add some variety to my meal plan.
The meals you choose don’t need to be overly complicated either. You can make regular meals your family loves healthier simply by making a few swaps.
- Spaghetti Squash or Wheat Pasta for White Pasta
- Cauliflower or Brown Rice for White Rice
- Air-frying instead of deep frying foods
