October 29th Weekly Menu - A Cozy Fall Menu

We finally got some cool Fall weather here in Houston!  So this week’s menu includes some cozy fall menu recipes for those chilly nights.

Cozy Fall Menu

Cool weather has finally found it’s way to Houston and I’m so excited to add some cozy Fall recipes to the menu.  I’m looking forward to watching some football with a bowl of chili. I like to serve my homemade chili over corn chips and topped with cheese like a Frito pie.

I’ve also got a simple Golden Chicken with Noodles slow cooker meal on the menu.    It will be warm and filling before our late baseball game.

Sports Sunday

Sunday afternoon we will be rooting on the Texans (see how we got sideline tickets here).

Sunday evening we will be cheering on the Astros as they hopefully clench the World Series!  Go Astros!

Halloween Night

Since Tuesday is Halloween I’ve planned to order pizza.  Our cul-de-sac usually gets together to pass out candy.  Ordering pizza makes for a fun and easy dinner, especially when my son is eager to get out and trick-or-treat with his friends.

  1. Tilapia Piccata sounds delicious. Our local Italian restaurant recently added it to their menu. Have a beautiful week!

I followed you here from I’m an Organizing Junkie. I’d love to have you stop by my blog when you get a chance. We are going to away from home most nights this week so I decided to do a “family favorites” menu to share instead of a week full of blank nights – ha!

    1. Thanks for stopping by Deanna! What a great idea to share your family favorites, I’ll definitely stop by your blog to check them out. We have some of those blank nights too- it’s called dinner at the baseball fields 🙂
The Tilapia Piccata is delicious and so easy to make. You can find the recipe on my Seafood Pinterest board.
