Menu Planning is easy when you carry over meals from the week before. Some of the meals in this week’s Weekly Menu may look familiar.
If you are looking at this week’s menu and noticing a lot of similarities with last week’s menu you’re not crazy. Life happens and there were several times last week where we didn’t follow the menu. The menu is just a plan so you are prepared with enough to eat for the week. Sometimes you just don’t feel like eating what’s on the menu. And that’s absolutely okay. It also makes planning meals for the next week even easier.
I didn’t feel like packing dinner for the baseball game so we ate Chick-fil-a sandwiches at the ballpark. How lucky are we to have Chick-fil-a at the baseball field concession stand? The English Muffin Pizzas we were supposed to have got moved to this week.
Same thing with the Beef Stroganoff. My husband wanted leftovers (because they were so good) before leftover night, so I moved that meal to this week too.
It’s all about having a plan but being flexible.
