To be honest, I don’t really look forward to our carb cycling. I’m a carbs girl so those carb cycling days are tough. So why do I do it? Because it works! If you’re looking to shed a little water weight and extra fluff, carb cycling will get you the results you desire. I’ve been doing it before vacations for years.

You may be surprised that on carb cycling days you actually eat a lot of food! A typical Portion Fix day consists of five different meals. On a carb cycling day you eat seven. The extra frequency is to keep your blood sugar from dipping in between meals.
I like to repeat all the same meals on carb cycling days. It makes meal planning and meal prepping so much easier. I make a big batch of each meal and portion it out. That way it’s ready to go the rest of the week. I can just heat and eat.
