Beachbody On Demand – Access Workouts Any Time, Any Where

Recently I found myself on an impromptu business trip.  My original plans to stop and spend the night at my grandparents got changed with the addition of another meeting.  Now instead of spending the night at their house I would be staying at a hotel. No big deal.  Since I was in the middle of the 21 Day Fix Program I would just bring the DVD with me and do one of the workouts that didn’t require weights.  Great plan.  Until I realized that plan wasn’t really going to work. Why I no longer go to the gym and favorite beachbody products

Life before Beachbody

For many years I was a member of a gym, like ever since high school.  And while I’ve always known the importance of exercising and staying fit, going to the gym wasn’t something I particularly enjoyed doing.

As a wife and now mom there are just so many other things (laundry, meal planninggrocery shopping, etc.) that need to get done.  My husband on the other hand could spend hours at the gym.  He loves to workout.  Our approaches to the gym were very different.  I wanted to get in and out as quickly as possible. Before we had our son, spending an entire Saturday morning at the gym was my husband’s idea of a good time, not mine.  I would anxiously watch the clock and think about all the things I needed to get done before I could do some actual weekend relaxing.   Continue reading “Why I No Longer Go to the Gym & A Few of My Favorite Beachbody Products”
