Sure Thing Overview
Sure Thing is an 8 week fitness program that includes both cardio and weight lifting workouts. Super Trainer Megan Davies uses Type Training to help you stay challenged. She wants you to feel good from the first day instead of waiting till you finish the program.
Equipment Needed
Here’s the equipment you’ll need for Sure Thing:
- Light, Medium & Heavy Dumbbells
- Strength Slides
Sure Thing Workouts
With Sure Thing you’ll do 5 workouts a week. Each workout is about 30-45 minutes. There are 36 unique Sure Thing workouts broken down into Endurance Weeks, Power Weeks and Functional Recovery Weeks. The program also includes 8 Cycling Rides.
You’ll alternate between Endurance & Power weeks with the 4th & 8th week being Functional Recovery weeks.

Endurance Weeks
Endurance weeks use lighter weights and higher reps to target slow twitch muscle fibers and increase stamina.
- Endurance Strength (Monday & Friday) – high rep workout and “run the rack” challenge
- Cardio Conditioning (Tuesday) – high intensity interval training (HIIT)
- EMOM Strength (Wednesday) – traditional weight lifting combined with “every minute on the minute” (EMOM) challenges
- Bodyweight Burnout (Thursday) – unilateral (one-sided) body weight exercises
Power Weeks
Power weeks use slow and controlled heavy lifting to target fast twitch muscle fibers to build strength.
- Upper Body Power (Monday) – plyometric and low-impact agility moves
- Explosive Cardio (Tuesday) – high intensity interval training (HIIT)
- Strength & Stability (Wednesday) – slower paced, stability-focused strength session
- Combination Strength (Thursday) – stacked strength training moves
- Lower Body Power (Friday) – low reps and heavy weights
Functional Recovery Weeks
Functional Recovery weeks combine lifting with mobility work to ease soreness and promote recovery.
- Power Strength Circuit (Monday) – circuit style mobility workout
- Rest or Cycle (Tuesday & Thursday) – muscular endurance circuits
- Endurance Strength Circuit (Wednesday) – total body circuit session
- Hybrid Strength Circuit (Friday)

Who is Megan Davies
