I’ve got all the details about this superfood shake including what’s inside, flavors, benefits, costs and even some recipes to help you decide if it’s right for you.
What is Shakeology ?
Shakeology is an all natural shake meant to be used as a meal replacement. According to its creators at Beachbody it is “The healthiest meal of the day.” They also like to refer to it as “Your daily dose of dense nutrition.”

The uncooked, unprocessed whole food ingredients from around the world provide a wealth of superfood nutrition all in one shake.

My currently daily go-to Shakeology recipe is:

- Tropical Strawberry + 1/2 banana + collagen + tsp peanut butter+ ice + water
Shakeology is also a great way to get extra vegetables into your diet. I like to add fresh spinach or frozen riced cauliflower to my shakes for an extra nutrient boost.
Ordering Options
You can order Shakeology by the bag (30 servings) or by the box (24 single serving packets).
If you order by the box you can mix up your flavors and get 1, 2, or 3 different flavors in the same box.
I currently get a box of Tropical Strawberry and my husband gets the triple combo box with Chocolate, Vanilla and Strawberry.
If you opt for auto-ship you will save money on shipping costs.
If you compare it to a stop at the coffee shop you’ll see you come out way ahead nutritionally by spending your money on Shakeology.
For the most cost-effective choice I’d go with the resealable bag option. If you travel and want the convenience of portability then go with the individual packets. When I travel I bring along my Shakeology Shaker Cup and packets. I mix my shake with ice and water for a quick healthy breakfast.
