The focus of this week’s menu is easy dinner meal prep. I’ve got several different types of meals that are easy to prep, heat and eat. Check out what is on this week’s menu.
Easy Dinner Meal Prep
I’ve heard so many people say they do a great job of making healthy food choices for breakfast and lunch. But by the end of the day they’re exhausted and it all goes downhill.
This week in my meal prep group we’re focusing on dinner meal prep. Now I don’t mind leftovers but I like to eat a meal fresh the first time I cook it. So instead of pre-cooking dinner, I’m simply prepping all the ingredients so they are ready to heat and eat.
You can do a search on Pinterest for things like “dump meals” or “freezer meals”. There are a few different types of meals that work well to prep ahead:
- Sheet Pan Meals
- Instant Pot Meals
- Slow Cooker Meals
To prep my meals this week I plan to put everything in my Instant Pot for the Instant Pot Meatloaf. For the Chicken Fajitas and Shrimp & Sausage Sheet Pan Meal I’ll put all the ingredients together in a ziploc bag in the fridge. And for the Crockpot Lasagna I plan to put everything together in my slow cooker, store in the fridge and set a calendar reminder to put it on to cook.
