It’s Super Bowl Sunday! Which to me really just means yummy party food and new commercials. We’re not having a party this year because we participate in a BBQ Cook-Off that happens to be the same weekend. Which is why I served hangover foods at last year’s Super Bowl Party. Check out my hangover menu here and other Super Bowl Party ideas here. Even though we’re not having people over I’m still making a 7-layer dip because to me it’s just not Super Bowl without it!
We completed our 1st week of Core De Force and loved it! I’ve been so sore all week. The program is full of moves I’ve never done before and is a fun challenge. You’ll notice there are a lot of repeats on this week’s menu from last week. February always seems to be a busy month and for whatever reason we ate out and had leftovers more last week which means less planning for this week since I’ve already got all the ingredients for the meals we didn’t get to last week. And since I’m feeling a little overwhelmed by everything that seems to be squeezed into the shortest month of the year (baby shower, birthday party, class friendship party, sports, etc.) I didn’t create a tally sheet for this week. I also put pizza and chips and dip on the menu for Super Bowl Sunday. Hey, it’s all about balance. You’ve got to treat yourself sometimes.
