After a week of travel I’m going back to some of my favorite Elimination Diet Meal Plan recipes. These recipes are so delicious and good for your gut. I can’t wait to have them again.
Healthier Choices
During my travels last week I noticed that I consistently made healthier choices. Spending almost two months testing out my food sensitivities has really made me aware of how food affects my body.
When I was faced with the amazing selection of Gelato at the Bellagio I chose a strawberry salad as an afternoon snack instead. I even went back the next day and while still tempted by the colorful selection of icy treats I chose the ancient grain salad.
Why? Because I know how dairy affects my body and really didn’t want to deal with an upset stomach while I was manning the booth at a trade show.
Gut Reset
I chose recipes from the Elimination Diet Meal Plan for this week’s menu because they serve as sort of a cleanse. Which after a week of travel is much needed.
And the recipes really are my favorites. That was one thing my husband commented on during the process is that he enjoyed that I’ve got so many new delicious, healthy recipes to add to the rotation.
I also want to properly test my food sensitivity to the pea protein in Shakeology. I thought the Vegan Shakeology contained chia seed which is a high reactivity for me. But, after reading the label closer chia seed is not in Vegan Shakeology. However, it is in regular Shakeology.
My pea protein sensitivity only tested moderate on the EverlyWell Food Sensitivity test. So fingers crossed I can go back to enjoying my daily Shakeology because it’s just such an easy way to get a healthy meal in.
