I’ve been enjoying tuna salad made this way since I was a little girl. Carbs or no carbs, you choose. Mix up a batch of this tuna salad and wrap it up in a tortilla or lettuce leaves. It’s also delicious on wheat toast. 

Be sure to choose tuna packed in water instead of oil to reduce calories.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup tuna
  • 1/2 cup chopped apple
  • 1/2 cup chopped pickles
  • 1 tsp low fat mayo
  • wheat tortilla or lettuce leaves

Instructions

Combine Ingredients  & Mix

Container counts =  1 Red, 1/2 Purple, 1/2 Green & 1 tsp

Serving Suggestions

  • Serve on a whole wheat tortilla with lettuce & apple slices (1 Red, 1 Purple, 1 Green, 1 Yellow, 1 tsp)
  • Serve on lettuce leaves with apple slices (1 Red, 1 Purple, 1 Green, 1 tsp)
