Healthy Italian Turkey Meatloaf
This Italian Turkey Meatloaf puts a healthy twist on classic meatloaf with lean ground turkey and Italian breadcrumbs. With only 4 ingredients, this dish comes together quickly. But do note it takes a while to cook and cool.

It’s the perfect Sunday meal prep dinner. While the meatloaf bakes in the oven you’ll have time to meal prep other meals and snacks for the week.

We usually pair Italian Turkey Meatloaf with a baked potato and green beans.  It’s one of my husband’s favorite meals and my 9-year old even eats it!

Healthy Italian Turkey Meatloaf

Yield: 4 Servings
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 45 minutes
Additional Time: 20 minutes
Total Time: 1 hour 15 minutes
Italian bread crumbs and marinara sauce add a twist on classic meatloaf. Pair with a baked potato and green beans to round out this healthy, homey dish.

Ingredients

  • 2 tsp bottle minced garlic
  • 1 lb ground turkey breast
  • 1/2 cup Italian bread crumbs
  • 3/4 cup marinara sauce (divided use)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°
  2. Mix together garlic, turkey breast, bread crumbs and ½ cup marinara sauce
  3. Form mixture into a loaf and place in an un-greased loaf pan
  4. Top with remaining ¼ cup marinara sauce
  5. Bake for 45 minutes or until cooked through
  6. Drain off fat and let cool 20 minutes before serving
