In this week’s meal planning video I talk about how meal planning consistently makes it so much easier. Check out what is on this week’s menu and some tips for consistent meal planning.

Consistent Meal Planning
When you are just starting to meal plan it can be quite overwhelming. The good news is, the more you do it the easier it gets. The trick is to use the same meal planning format consistently.
Once you have a framework, filling out your meal plan each week becomes simple no matter what nutrition plan you follow. I follow Portion Fix and can tell you exactly which containers I have when without even looking. Which also makes it easy for me to stay on plan when I eat out.
Here’s the format I follow consistently:
- I block out time on Wednesdays to meal plan, Thursdays to write my grocery list & Friday to shop
- I use a meal plan template (available in the Resource Library)
- I make note of any events on my template
- I choose two morning and two afternoon snacks and alternate them for the week
- I eat leftovers for lunch and have a leftover night once a week
I can usually get my meal plan done each week in less than 20 minutes.
