This week’s menu is pretty simple since I’m traveling for work. I do still have some meals planned for the days before my trip. Also, you can see some of my favorite healthy travel snacks.
Healthy Travel Snacks
I’ve got work trips planned for the next two weeks so I’m sharing some of my favorite healthy travel snacks. When you travel it’s easy to grab pre-packaged snacks like chips. But beware, sometimes those pre-packaged snacks can be high in sodium and highly processed. There are also several fruits that travel well and don’t need refrigeration.
Here are few of my favorite snacks for when I’m on the go that I consider fairly healthy.
- Almonds (unsalted)
- Cashews
- Popcorn (lightly salted)
- Trail Mix
- Mini Oranges (easy to peel like Halos or Cuties)
- Bananas
- Apples
- Beef Jerky
- Turkey Bites
- Chicken Salad Kits
- Protein Bars
