There’s no special theme for this week’s menu. It’s all about just taking the time to meal plan. Check out what is on this week’s meal plan and why it’s important to make time to get it done.
Meal Planning Time
If your goal is to eat healthy, then meal planning is a must. Having a plan to follow makes staying on track so much easier. The problem with not having a plan is that as the week goes on decision fatigue sets in. Deciding what you’re going to eat 5 times a day, 7 days a week can be exhausting. And by the end of the week it’s much easier to just give in to those cravings and eat the processed, not so healthy convenience foods.
But, if you take a little time one day each week to sit down and make a plan you don’t face those decisions every day. The decisions are already made for you.
You also need to make time for writing out your grocery list & picking up your groceries. When you have everything on hand following your meal plan becomes that much easier.
Bonus points if you do some meal prep. That can be anything from washing & chopping up fruits and vegetables for grab and go access or prepping meals for the week you can just reheat and enjoy. There’s no right way to get it done. You have to find what works for you.
The 20-30 minutes it takes to meal plan is worth every minute.
