For a quick, warm snack that tastes more like dessert mix together fruit & nuts with a dash of cinnamon. You can use any combination of fruit and nuts. I used pecans in these recipes but have also made the recipes with walnuts.
The magic happens when you pop it in the microwave for about 30 seconds. Warm nuts, fruit and the cozy fragrance of cinnamon are perfect on a chilly day.
If you’re using canned fruit be sure to choose fruit canned in fruit juice instead of heavy syrup to avoid extra sugar and calories.
