We’re heading to Lake Travis for Labor Day Weekend. I hear that the lake is a little low but we plan to spend most of our time by the pool. Which means we’ll be following the 80 Day Obsession Peak Week meal plan to help us slim down and get pool ready.
Pre-Labor Day Slim Down
Even though I’m still doing the LIIFT4 workouts, I’m following the peak week meal plan I used during 80 Day Obsession. I didn’t see a LIIFT4 version. I know the 80 Day Obsession peak week meal plan works because I’ve done it twice.
Meal prep is a big part of what helps me stick to this lower carb meal plan. I constantly crave carbs. When I lower my carb intake it zaps some of my energy. So prepping meals ahead of time while I’m energized and full of carbs helps me make all the meals. I also don’t like to waste food. So if I know it’s already prepped I feel the need to eat it so it doesn’t go to waste.
Spirit Night
One of my favorite fundraisers is Spirit Nights at local restaurants. A reason to eat out during the week is always welcome. My son’s school is having a Spirit Night at Chili’s two nights this week. Luckily the peak week meal plan has a regular eating day during the week. So Wednesday I’ll probably pick something from Chili’s Guiltless Menu. When you’re trying to stick with a healthy diet doing a little prep work and checking out the menu and nutrition facts ahead of time can help you stay on track.

The weekly menu is a word doc so you can download and make changes to suit your needs. Just click on the image below to download, edit and print. I’ve included the regular menu format and the 80 Day Obsession Meal Plan Template.
