I can’t believe it’s already the first week of July. June flew by in the blink of an eye. This week I’m cooking with Blue Apron. And we’re also celebrating Independence Day with an All-American 4th of July Menu. Get some ideas for your 4th of July celebration.
Blue Apron
Honestly, another Blue Apron oops on my part, but as always a happy accident. I didn’t go in and cancel this shipment but I’m looking forward to cooking the meals they are sending me. I usually go in and check out what’s on the menu at Blue Apron to see if I want to schedule or skip my delivery. They show about 4 weeks of menus at a time so you can plan ahead. They’ve got some great grilling options for Summer right now.
Check out my Blue Apron Review here.
4th of July Menu
4th of July is the perfect time for cooking out and enjoying popsicles by the pool. That is really the extent of our 4th of July plans. I am going to try and re-create the delicious Puka Dogs we had on our trip to Kauai. We brought back their famous Auntie Lilikoi’s Hawaiian Mustard to enjoy.
I’m also going to make a red, white & blue watermelon, blueberry, feta salad. If you’re a What’s Working Here newsletter subscriber I shared the recipe a few weeks ago – If you’re not currently a subscriber sign-up now to get my menus delivered right to your inbox along with bonus recipes, recipe reviews and helpful tips exclusively for subscribers.
I plan on also making some coconut water berry popsicles I found on Pinterest. I’ll let you know how they turn out in next week’s newsletter.
