Thanksgiving is this week! I feel like the holidays have come fast and hard this year. I’ve got a week of healthy meals planned leading up to our Thanksgiving menu where I plan to indulge. You can certainly enjoy the foods you want this holiday season without feeling guilty. Just watch your portion sizes and listen to your body so you don’t end up feeling miserable.
Thanksgiving Menu
We are having Thanksgiving at my Mother-in-Law’s on Thursday. My Mother’s side of the family has always done Thanksgiving on Friday. Since my Grandparent’s are no longer with us we won’t be traveling to East Texas this year. Instead I’ll be hosting Thanksgiving for my side of the family on Friday.
I’m looking forward to spending time with family. I really do love having everyone over. Luckily, hosting Thanksgiving is not overwhelming because my Mom & Sister will be bringing dishes as well. Also, I don’t know that I’ve ever cooked a whole turkey but my Sister’s husband has agreed to fry one for us!
Here’s a peek at our Thanksgiving Menu. Of course as I write this we continue to add items to the menu. Click the image to download & edit for your feast.
