For the first time ever after 18 Fixes, I sent everything in my last Stitch Fix shipment back. I loved all the colors, the pieces were cute but they just didn’t seem to work out for me. Even though I wasn’t able to apply my $20 styling fee to purchasing anything I wasn’t that upset. Spending a day driving from store to store and coming home empty handed makes me upset. Imagine my delight & surprise when I got an email from Stitch Fix saying sorry we missed the mark, your next styling fee is on us. I immediately scheduled a second Spring Fix.

Stitch Fix Spring Style Take 2
Out of the box I had mixed feelings about this fix. But you have to remember you never know how something is going to look on you until you try it on.
First, I tried on the Tahj 2fer Knit Maxi Dress by Gilli. I love that it came in a petite. As I explained in the video I usually have to hold up maxi dresses in order to walk. My stylist, Rachel, mentioned in her note to me that she’s the same height as me and gets excited too when she sees a maxi dress in a petite length. I love that my stylist can relate to my fashion challenges.
This petite maxi makes me so happy. I love the vibrant colors at the bottom and the interesting v-neck cut of the top. This is definitely a keeper!
Next I tried on the Nicolas Lace Detail Blouse by Crescent with the Primrose Skinny Jean by Level 99 as suggested by Rachel. The top has the prettiest lace detail on the back.
The top isn’t really me, I could totally picture it on one of my college roommates though.
I love the mint color of the skinny jeans. I’ve come to the realization that skinny jeans are just that – skinny and tight. I wasn’t too sure about these but my husband came home while I was taking these pictures and said “you’re keeping those”. Can’t argue with that 🙂
Lastly, I tried on the Sutherlin Contrast Print Knit Top by Le Lis with the Primrose Skinny Jean by Level 99. Rachel said she picked this top for me since I had a lot of stripes pinned to my Pinterest Board. I’m not a fan of the floral print on this top and just don’t love it.
Rachel also sent me the Munroe Feather Pendant Necklace by Romolo after seeing it on my Pinterest Board (you can follow it too). The reason it is on there is because it was part of my Sister’s Maternity Fix. She didn’t end up keeping it and I thought about keeping it as a gift for her but decided to send it back since she didn’t seem to love it.
2nd Time’s the Charm
My 2nd Spring Fix was a success! I appreciate Stitch Fix making the effort to deliver outstanding customer service. I ended up keeping the Maxi Dress and mint skinny jeans. I’ve already worn the maxi dress a couple of times and have gotten a number of compliments.
Sometimes, especially when you first get started, it takes a couple of times for your stylist to get to know your sizes and style preferences. I would definitely give it a few tries before giving up completely. The more feedback you give your stylist the better your fixes will be. If your stylist doesn’t seem to be working out you can always request another one.

The Gift of Stitch Fix
Stitch Fix Gift Cards are the perfect gift for Mother’s Day for Mothers of all ages. I’ve given my Mom the gift of Stitch Fix and she really enjoyed it. Not only is the process fun but she enjoys wearing her pieces knowing that she’s on-trend. I love knowing that I’ve given her a gift that makes her feel good about herself.
