This Summer seemed to fly by. I realized I have not gotten any new wardrobe updates from Stitch Fix for the warmer months. My June Vacation Fix was full of layering pieces since the places we were visiting had much cooler weather. So I had to schedule a fix before the season was over. I’m glad I did because I got some great pieces in this Late Summer Stitch Fix Review. Being in Texas I’ve got plenty of hot days left to wear them.

Personal Stylist
One of my favorite things about Stitch Fix is the personal touch each fix is given. I love reading my note from my stylist. Jan styled me again this time. Her comments about my last fix review and visit to Stitch Fix headquarters lets me know she’s really trying to get to know me and my style better. She’s also checking out what is on my Pinterest Board.
Late Summer Stitch Fix Review
There’s always one piece in each fix that I don’t want to take off. The Izora Lace Detail Knit Romper by Skies are Blue was the piece from this fix. I ended up wearing it out for my husband’s birthday dinner. It is so comfy.
I really like the lace detail at the top. And it has pockets! A definite keeper.
I really like the Delila Embroidery Neckline Knit Top by Skies are Blue. It feels comfy like a t-shirt but has a nice dressed up look. Jan also mentioned that I can wear the top with my red skinnies and navy cardi from my last fix for a Fall look. It easily went into the keep pile!
The Archie Distressed Frayed Hem Short by Dear John on the other hand did not. I like the idea of the style of the short but they were just too big on me. My husband saw me in them and told me to “take off the mom shorts”. The fabric was so soft. I wish they had worked out but I felt like I was wearing a diaper.
Next, I tried on the Felix Satin Trim Blouse from Skies are Blue. I really wanted this top to work. I love the Kelly Green color! The style of the top is cute but it’s just a little too short. I was very disappointed to send this one back.
The last item I received were these Katarina Twisted Hoops from Bay to Baubles. If you look closely you can see them in all of the pictures above. They were just okay to me and one of the hoops was untwisted so I sent them back.
