Packing lunch or dinner when you are on the go can sometimes lead to soggy sandwich sadness. Instead, build your sandwich on a toasted bagel and say good-bye to soggy sandwiches. Add a side of baby carrots and you’ve got a complete meal. 

Healthy Bagel Sandwich

Ingredients

  • 1/2 whole wheat bagel
  • 6 slices ham or turkey
  • lettuce leaf
  • 1 slice cheese
  • baby carrots

Instructions

  1. Slice & toast bagel. Cut bagel in half. Set aside one half. 
  2. Next, top bottom half of bagel with cheese
  3. Then, add ham or turkey slices
  4. Top with lettuce leaf and top half of bagel
  5. Serve with baby carrots

Container counts = 1 Green, 1 Red, 1 Yellow, 1 Blue

Variation: For 80 Day Obsession Refeed Days you can swap out the half of a whole wheat bagel with a whole white bagel to equal 2 Supplemental Yellows.
