School is finally back in session! While that means more productive work days for me it also means after school activities and homework. See how I plan around sports practices to get dinner not necessarily on the table but in my family in this week’s Weekly Menu.
Back to Busy
Now that school is back in session you’re likely to be much busier. Practices, game nights and homework can make getting dinner on the table that much more difficult. That’s why you have to plan ahead. Check out my post on How To Menu Plan in 3 Easy Steps. I walk you through how I put together my Weekly Menu each week.
On the nights we have practices or games I usually plan a slow cooker meal that cooks while we are away and is ready when we get home. The Slow Cooker Jambalaya will great after parent orientation. Sometimes I even pack our dinner to eat on the way home in the car. Bagel sandwiches are perfect for a post-game dinner on the way home from the baseball fields.
