To round out the rest of this week’s menu I realized it was time to eat some of the things I’ve been storing away in the freezer. I hate to waste food. I usually have leftovers for lunch and on Thursdays we have leftovers from the week for dinner. When there is still food leftover I try to freeze what I can, something my grandmother taught me.
Be sure to freeze your leftovers in freezer bags, pressing all the air out, to prevent freezer burn. Leftovers are only good for about 3-4 months in the freezer so you’ll want to be sure and clean them out every couple of months.
The Hamburgers (meat & buns) and Stuffed Peppers on this week’s menu are from the freezer.
