I love to organize things and really enjoy the items that help me stay organized. Today I’m going to share with you my top 5 items for storage organization. Bonus: You can pick them all up at Target or order online with your REDcard to have them shipped to your home free!
#1- Baskets
I seriously have over 20 of these Threshold Baskets in different sizes throughout my house. Baskets are great for grouping like items. Even if you’re not super organized, tossing things into a basket will make your closets, pantries, and shelves look organized. Here are some of the projects where I’ve used these baskets:
#2- Storage Bench
I love these Closetmaid Cubeicals 3-Cube Storage Benches. They are sturdy, look nice, are affordable and are so functional. I have at least 4 of these in my home.

#3- Fabric Bins
Fabric bins are kind of like baskets but I would classify them in a different category. I’ve got both ClosetMaid bins that fit into the bench above and different sized Threshold bins. Just like baskets I’ve got bins in different sizes all throughout my house. I really like being able to group like items together and put them away out of sight.

#4- Tray Organizers
Drawers are great but having things slide around inside drawers is not so great. I love using tray organizers to keep things organized inside drawers. Using clear organizers allows you to stack them up and still see what is underneath. Use plastic organizers in the bathroom or places where you might store liquids and mesh organizers in the office and kitchen.

#5- Storage Totes
These totes are great for storing seasonal items. I’ve got different colored totes for Easter, Fall, Halloween, and Christmas decor. I really like the ones with the latching handles because sometimes when the bin is overstuffed the tops tend to pop off.
