September 3rd Weekly Menu

The Houston area is starting to recover from the devastating aftermath of Hurricane Harvey.  Seeing how people have come together to help each other has been amazing.  Those of us not having to gut our homes are helping others and trying to return to some sort of normalcy.  For me that means planning what we are going to eat in my weekly menu.

Weekly Menu 8/27/17 – School Meal Planning

August 27th Weekly Menu- Back to School Meal Planning

We’re saying goodbye to Summer and hello to a new school year this week.  We are supposed to start school on Monday but we will see what happens with all the rain we are expected to get from Hurricane Harvey.  Since I do my meal planning on Thursdays and grocery shopping on Fridays I was able to get everything I needed before the storm.  See what we’re eating this week along with some tips for school meal planning and making mornings easier. Weekly Menu 8/6/17

August 6th Weekly Menu

This week’s menu includes Blue Apron recipes and a special birthday dinner for my husband.  Using Blue Apron makes planning my weekly menu so easy.  Since half the meals are planned for me I don’t have to work too hard to come up with other meal ideas.

Weekly Menu 7/23/17

July 23rd Weekly Menu- Meal Plan Ideas

This week’s menu came together fairly easily.  Blue Apron’s meals this week are too enticing to pass up.  They had me at Lo Mein & Shrimp.  To round out the meal plan ideas for the rest of the week I wanted simple Summer meals.  I chose a favorite Cooking Light grilled meal and a new one pan dish I found on Pinterest.
