I was so excited last week about cooking with Blue Apron I couldn’t wait to get my shipment. I kept checking the front porch all day Friday anxiously awaiting my box. Once night fell I grew a bit concerned. Why haven’t I gotten my Blue Apron package yet? It said it would be here by 8:00 pm at the latest. So I finally went back and double checked the ship date. Much to my disappointment I had the dates wrong.

I love to cook and plan meals. After seeing many ads for Blue Apron I was intrigued about the fresh ingredient and recipe delivery service but still not sold. I do my own menu planning (See my Weekly Menus Here) so I wasn’t sure how the service would fit into my planning. Today I’m sharing how I tackle weekly menu planning and “on the diet” menu planning. What is “on the diet” menu planning you ask. Whenever my husband and I are doing one of our work-out programs T25, Insanity, P90X etc. he always wants to make sure that whatever we’re eating is “ on the diet”. To be honest I get so tired of him asking, “Is this on the diet?”. The first time through a program it’s pretty easy to just follow the meal plan how it’s laid out.
