Woohoo! I made it through hosting 3 parties in 1 short month! I’ll be sharing the details of my sister’s baby shower soon. But first, one more week of overlapping winter & spring sports. Last week we actually had one day where B had 3 practices at the same time. In the past I would have tried to make at least a little bit of them all. However, I’ve learned that instead of stressing out and trying to do it all, it’s best to just pick one and let the rest go. Luckily the decision didn’t end up being too hard. We’re starting Core De Force this week! I’m really excited to start this new program. I’ve heard so many good things about how fun & challenging the workouts are. Once we finish the program I’ll be sure to give you a full review.
It’s Week 2 of the 21 Day Fix for us so I’ve got another week of color coded meals planned. I created a modified version of my “On the Diet” Menu Planning System for the 21 Day Fix. I’ve got colored coded cards for each food group to help me mix things up a bit. I usually start planning lunch and dinner and fill in the other containers after I have those set. Happy New Year! Since I was a kid my family has gone out to eat for lunch on New Year’s Day at the Black Eyed Pea where we’d kick-off the new year with black eyed peas for luck and cabbage for wealth. Unfortunately, after all these years they’ve closed down. Not sure where we will end up for lunch but just in case I bought some black eyed peas and cabbage to have for dinner.
