Fitness is always on the top of many New Year’s Resolution lists.  In order to keep my fitness goals I started planning out my fitness programs for the year (See my 2016 Plan).  Staying healthy requires having a plan. I don’t really enjoy working out so having a plan and a program to follow helps me stay on track and stay motivated.  I’m sharing my plan for a fit year and showing you how to create a plan that works for you.

Life before Beachbody

For many years I was a member of a gym, like ever since high school.  And while I’ve always known the importance of exercising and staying fit, going to the gym wasn’t something I particularly enjoyed doing.

As a wife and now mom there are just so many other things (laundry, meal planninggrocery shopping, etc.) that need to get done.  My husband on the other hand could spend hours at the gym.  He loves to workout.  Our approaches to the gym were very different.  I wanted to get in and out as quickly as possible. Cize Review

Cize Review

I love to dance so when I heard about Shaun T’s latest dance focused fitness program, CIZE, I knew I had to try it.  For all of my dance friends who haven’t danced in a while it’s a great way to get back into dance.  Since you’re in the privacy of your own home you don’t have to worry about what you look like.  You can literally dance like no is watching.  It feels really good to get into the music and just dance again.

Oh, yeah and you’re exercising at the same time!  CIZE is totally different from traditional exercise programs so I feel like it really helps me exercise different parts of my body and my brain.
