Fitness is always on the top of many New Year’s Resolution lists.  In order to keep my fitness goals I started planning out my fitness programs for the year (See my 2016 Plan).  I don’t really enjoy working out so having a program to follow helps me stay on track and stay motivated.  Also, I work out first thing in the morning to make sure I get it done.  As a non-morning person this mean my brain is not fully functioning so not having to think about what I’m going to do is a plus.  I literally roll out of bed, put on work out clothes, brush my teeth, pull my hair up in a messy pony tail, grab some water, consult my work out schedule, pop in the dvd and start following along.  Some days it’s a slow start, arms crossed, halfway doing the warm-up, yawning, pouty face.  But, eventually I get into it a little more and push harder.  Vacations are always a good motivator!

I’ve mapped out a workout plan for the year with all my favorite Beachbody programs to help me stay on the right track. Actually doing the programs helps me push myself a little harder because I like to check off the boxes and complete each program. Otherwise I end up picking the easiest or quickest workout just to get it done. Check out my full reviews for 21 Day Fix, T25, Brazil Butt Lift, and 10-Minute Trainer.  Be on the lookout for a review of Core de Force soon! Continue reading “Mapping Out a Fit 2017”

Mapping Out a Fit Year

Mapping Out A Fit Year

I’ve mentioned before that working out isn’t my favorite thing, but I know it’s important to maintain my health.  I used to go to the gym to workout but after B was born I started doing Beachbody programs (check out my reviews for 21 Day Fix, T25, Brazil Butt Lift, 10-Minute Trainer, Cize, and BodyBeast).  They work great for me because I like to have a plan to follow instead of wandering around the gym trying to decide which machine I want to do or which muscle group I should workout. I also like being able to wake up, push play and get my workout done first thing in the morning without even thinking.

I’ve mapped out a workout plan for the year with all my favorite Beachbody programs to help me stay on the right track. Continue reading “Mapping Out a Fit Year”

10 Minute Trainer Review

10 Minute Trainer Review

As I’ve mentioned before, I’m not a workout enthusiast. I just want to get it done and move on with my day. After seeing the infomercials for Tony Horton’s 10-Minute Trainer it looked like something that would be a great fit for me. Continue reading “10 Minute Trainer Review”
