My gorgeous sister who you may remember from my post about her 1st Fix, Bridal Shower and Bachelorette Party is expecting! I am so excited for her. Like most moms & mom’s-to-be she’s busy buying baby things and not one to spend much on herself, especially for clothes she’ll only wear for a little while. So, I got her a Stitch Fix Gift Card she could use for a maternity fix.

When you are expecting, especially for the first time, so much of the focus is on getting things for the new baby. Most moms I know, myself included, are the worst at getting things for themselves. As your body changes during pregnancy and you can no longer wear your normal clothes you’ve got to shop for yourself. I remember not wanting to spend much on maternity clothes, I found most of mine at Target , but I did splurge on a few quality pieces. Luckily, moms-to-be can now shop for themselves without ever leaving home. Through Stitch Fix‘s personal styling service you can have reasonably priced, quality maternity pieces shipped right to your door. See How Stitch Fix Works here.
My sister was kind enough to model her Maternity Fix.
First off, how adorable is she? She really liked the burgundy Hallie Open Drape Graphic Cardigan by Absolutely. A perfect addition to her teacher wardrobe and something she can wear after baby comes too. A definite keeper.
The fabric of the Zambri Maternity Swing Knit Top by Full Moon is so soft and the floral sleeves are a fun touch. A comfy top with room to grow and another keeper.
The gold Munroe Feather Pendant Necklace by Romolo was nice and looked great with the Full Moon top. Since she has something similar it went back in the pre-paid envelope.
The mustard Arnie Maternity Knit Top from Loveapella is a perfect fit and great staple piece. Another keeper.
The black Greta Knit Ruched Maternity Dress from Loveapella is a nice dress up piece. After much consideration my sister decided she really didn’t have any occasions coming up that warranted keeping the dress.
I was very impressed by my sister’s maternity fix and so glad she enjoyed 3 out of the 5 items enough to keep them. Stitch Fix Gift Cards are a great idea for anyone you know who is hesitant to shop for themselves. They offer styling services for men, women, pregnant women and have recently launched plus sizes as well. Is it time to treat yourself to something new?
I’m linking up with Maria at Crazy Together who is also enjoying some great maternity fixes. Check out other fixes from some of my favorite bloggers.
