After seeing all the cute fall items my favorite bloggers received from Stitch Fix I decided I needed a Fall fix of my own.
You may have caught my Unboxing Video and got a peek at the items that Rachel picked out for me. My only request was a plaid top I saw in another blogger’s fix and a puffy vest. And while they didn’t have the plaid top I wanted, I thought Rachel did a great job finding something just as cute!
How Stitch Fix Works
Since I don’t like to go to the mall, or can’t find the time, I love that Stitch Fix sends pieces right to my front door for me to try on at my convenience. It’s also the perfect gift for yourself or someone else.
Here’s a rundown on how it works:

October Stitch Fix Review
First, I tried on the Arava Knit Dress from 41Hawthorn. It has a fun black and white pattern and quilted texture. It even has pockets! We all know my affinity for dresses with pockets. However I didn’t really love the fit or the pattern. My neighbors who saw me shooting photos by my front door said I looked like I was in the 70s. I accessorized the dress with the Zad earrings from my 8th Fix and the Zad metal cuff from my 9th Fix.
Next, I tried on the Senna Bar Back Blouse from 41 Hawthorn with the Maribel Distressed Straight leg Jean from Kut from the Kloth. I love the deep burgundy color of the top- very Fall.
I also like the tab sleeves, back design and how it’s cut longer in the back. You can wear the top with leggings and not have your bottom hanging out. What is it that one lady on Facebook said “cover your tail !”
I also really like the distressed jeans designed especially for Stitch Fix. They are very comfy, have just the right amount of distressing and I like the wash.
Next I layered on the navy Rowen Faux Leather quilted vest from Fate. I’m not sure if Stitch Fix keeps up with the items they’ve sent you but last winter I received a navy quilted vest very similar to this one in my 12th Fix. I wasn’t really sure about the collar detail and since I already have a navy quilted vest I decided to send this one back. I felt it was a bit too pleathery. It looks really nice though with the burgundy top so I will probably pair the navy vest I have with it also.
Next I tried on the plaid substitute Rachel found me. Although it wasn’t the one I wanted, I really liked the Colibri Plaid Henley top from Market & Spruce. I like the deep jewel tone navy, red and green colors. It has a nice feminine cut and is also cut lower in the back for tail covering if you choose to wear leggings.
It also looks great with the navy vest.
Or cut off jean shorts for Fall here in Texas.
Did you spot my camera assistant peeking into the shot? Since my usual photographer (my hubby) was out of town I used my tripod & auto shoot feature to take this month’s photos. B helped me out by pushing the button. He was a very good assistant!

Have you heard? Stitch fix is not just for women anymore, they now offer fixes for men! My husband recently received his 1st Fix! I think he really enjoyed the experience.
