Pumpkin, pumpkin everywhere, must mean fall is right around the corner. Even though it’s still 90 degrees here in Texas I’ve already purchased some pumpkin to start making those warm & cozy fall recipes. Today I’m sharing a few of my favorite pumpkin recipes. These are all recipes I’ve actually made (many times) and my family LOVES. My husband and son were actually drooling over the thought of having these recipes when I asked them their favorites.
These Pumpkin Waffles from The Girl Who Ate Everything are my son’s favorite! They are so fluffy, delicious and fill the house with the best fall aroma. Be sure and follow her directions to beat the egg whites separately, it’s the secret to getting such fluffy waffles. You’ll see these on our Weekly Menu a lot!
These pumpkin pancakes from All Recipes are my husband’s favorite. Made with pumpkin and all the cozy spices in pumpkin pie, the pancakes are perfect for a crisp fall morning.
Creamy Pumpkin Pasta
I love that this Creamy Pumpkin Pasta from Kitchen Treaty is a one pot meal. It’s perfect for a cool fall night and comes together quick & easy. The only change I make is substituting feta for the goat cheese (not a fan).
Pumpkin pie made from a real pumpkin is easier than you think. I’ve been using the recipe I got off a pie pumpkin for years. To mix things up sometimes I’ll cut out circles of dough and bake the pies in mini muffin cups for bite size pies.
Snickerdoodles alone are delicious but add a little pumpkin and it’s like these were made for fall. These Pumpkin Snickerdoodles from High Heels & Grills are so delicious, you may just eat them all. You’ve been warned.
Be sure to follow my Fall Board on Pinterest for other pumpkin recipes I plan on trying this season. What are some of your favorites I should add?
