With summer fast approaching I’ve been working on getting a plan together to keep B from spending his days in front of the tv. As a working mom that works from home it’s important to me to have something for him to do so I can get my work done. Thinking this was only a working mom problem I asked some of my stay-at-home mom friends and found that they too are busy scheduling summer activities. Now when I say scheduling I don’t mean the over-scheduled, helicopter parenting type of thing. Unfortunately, now he wants to keep everything. But, I’ve developed a method for keeping the clutter at bay. Continue reading “Playroom Clean Out and Organization”
We visited Santa’s Wonderland in College Station for the first time last year and are looking forward to going again this year. We went with a group of friends the Friday before Christmas. The kids had early release from school so it gave us plenty of time to make the two hour trip to College Station, get there and get in line before it opened. We chose the VIP parking which allowed us to park close to the entrance. Surprisingly it wasn’t overly crowded. Continue reading “Santa’s Wonderland- College Station, TX”
