We visited Santa’s Wonderland in College Station for the first time last year and are looking forward to going again this year. We went with a group of friends the Friday before Christmas. The kids had early release from school so it gave us plenty of time to make the two hour trip to College Station, get there and get in line before it opened. We took a trip last weekend to P-6 Farms in Montgomery, Texas for some fall fun, even though it was 90 degrees. We had a great time! It’s about an hour and 15 minutes from Eagle Springs. We stopped on the way and had lunch on lake Conroe.

We’ve reached the half way point of Summer. In case you’ve run out of fun things to do with the kiddos here are a few ideas that have worked here. Since I work from home B stays home with me 3 days a week. The other two days he goes to a daycare that takes the kids on field trips. I like to give him an outdoor activity to get him outside because A- I think it’s good for him and B- I’ve got to get my work done. My office looks out on our drive-way and front yard so I send him there to play so I can keep an eye on him while I work. Here are some of his favorite activities.
