Teacher Appreciation Week is coming up and I thought I’d share some ideas to show your child’s teacher just how much you appreciate them putting up with your child. Seriously, God bless teachers. I have no idea how they handle all those children without losing it on a daily basis. I totally understand why you see teachers at Happy Hour on Fridays. Teachers are definitely special people, especially those (like my Mom) who use their own resources and work countless hours after school to make sure their students succeed.

I redid our master closet a couple of years ago when my husband bought me wooden hangers for my birthday. (Don’t worry, he’s not a bad gift giver, this is actually exactly what I asked for and they made me very happy. I have issues I know). If you’re like me there’s no greater place to shop than Target. You’ve heard the jokes about going in for one thing and coming out with 20. (It’s no joke) I will confess there was one time I left Target with nothing. It was a sad day. A couple of weeks ago I lived the dream of wandering around Target, alone, Starbucks drink in my hand and time on my side. It was a good day.
At the end of every Target trip when you’re checking out you’re always faced with the same question, “Would you like to apply for a Target REDcard?” Now I’m a Dave Ramsey Girl so my automatic response is always “NO” ( see post on finances if you’re curious why).
